Ganja or Cannabis: The Boon of Maheshwara...

It has many names Marijuana, Hemp, Bhang, Ganja, Weed, Pot, but it was first brought down from the Himalayas by Lord Shiva to the Bootagan and later to human beings -- from where it spread throughout the world.

AS CANNABIS HAS BEEN BROUGHT TO EARTH BY LORD SHIVA-- IT CANNOT BE BAD FOR MAN OR THE PLANET, IT IS NOT ADDICTIVE.

READ THIS POINT AGAIN AND AGAIN IF IT HAS NOT GOT IN YOUR HEAD.

If any third world nation wants get out from the clutches of debt they owe to the International Monetary Fund (IMF), Cannabis or Hemp is the only way. Why so will be explained in later part of this post, but what needs to be understood is that this plant of Boon is not a crop but rather its a weed and can be grown in any climate, region of the planet.

IF CANNABIS IS LEGALISED IT WILL TAKE AWAY 95% OF PHARMA BUSINESS.

IF CANNABIS IS LEGALISED IT SHALL TAKE AWAY THE MONOPOLY OF ALL ZIONIST M.N.C WHICH IS BLEEDING THE PLANET CREATING A LOT OF BUSINESS AND JOB OPPORTUNITY FOR THE WORLD.

IF CANNABIS IS LEGALISED ALL OIL & GAS AS WELL AS PLASTIC INDUSTRY WHICH CAUSES IMMENSE POLLUTION WILL COMPLETELY GO OUT OF BUSINESS 100%.

In 1936 a movie was released in America called "Reefer Madness" and this highlighted about the harmful effects of Cannabis, so much was the impact that people in America started to hate this wonder plant and it helped the Zionist Evil Cartel to get what they want: MONOPOLY

(If you believe this movie then this post ain't for you...)

It was a sheer propaganda to create a fear psychosis amongst the American people to abolish the use of this Wonder plant and cultivation of this plant to Monopolise and regulate the market. UNLIKE OPIUM MARIJUANA IS NOT ADDICTIVE.

Cannabis has a wonder drug called THC (Tetrahydrocannabinol) which has nil side effects. Cannabis is a wonder drug and can work wonders for people from Creative professions like Poets, Singer, Actors, Artists, Novelists etc.  as this THC will put one directly in an Alpha Brain State

The "alpha state" is where meditation starts and you begin to access the wealth of creativity that lies just below our conscious awareness.  Alpha is also the home of the window frequency known as the Schumann Resonance, which is the resonant frequency of the earth's electromagnetic field.

In deep meditation, waves of alpha rhythms cascade across the brain, a resonance is created between the meditator and planet whose heart beat is 7.83 hertz. Energy and information which are embedded in the zero point field or ether field are transferred.

The planet communicates with us in this primal language of frequencies. Most people are in an alpha state during the short time immediately before they fall asleep and when the conscious nervous system switches over to the subconscious. When we intentionally generate alpha waves and go into resonance with that earthy frequency, we naturally feel better, refreshed, in tune, in synch. It is, in fact, environmental synchronization.

9500 B.C.: Hemp is woven into fabric in India .  Indians being Hindus by religion and vegetarians rarely used animal skins for personal protection. Even the shoes were made of hemp.
5000 BC:—Vedas are written on hemp paper in the North and Palm leaves in the South.
4000 BC:- Ayurveda uses Cannabis for various medications and puts it in writing .
3500 BC:- The sailors from Kerala take Cannabis Ayurveda preparations to the Pharoah of Egypt . Tarred hemp is used to caulk the ships' planks.

     Bhang ( Cannabis drink )

India is one of very few nations in the world where one can legally stand on the street and have a cannabis drink without fear of being thrown into jail.

Cannabis so ingrained in the culture of India even though selling cannabis is prohibited in India. Bhang is a “cannabis milkshake”. It consists of nuts and spices like almonds, pistachios, poppy seeds, pepper, ginger, sugar or honey and mixed with cannabis powder prepared from cannabis plant and boiled with milk. It is then drunk either at normal temperature or cold. It’s usually consumed as milk or yogurt based beverage, famously known as “Bhang ki Thandai” or “Bhang Lassi”

Types of Cannabis:

Nowadays there are plenty of types of marijuana available but all of them are derived from two cannabis family species. These two essential species are 1. Cannabis Sativa and 2. Cannabis Indica, both are different in terms of their chemical composition, physiological aesthetic, and medical application.

Indica and Sativa differ in medicinal properties. Sativa strains produce more of a euphoric high, lifting the consumer’s mood and therapeutically relieving stress.  Indica strains relax muscle and work as general analgesics, also helping with sleep.

A cancer patient hoping to relieve the pain from chemotherapy would benefit greatly from the effects of an Indica plant bud, whereas an individual dealing with depression would better benefit from a Sativa plant bud.

The active chemicals responsible for the medicinal effects of marijuana are collectively called cannabinoids. This group includes THC, CBD, and CBN. Sativa’s cannabinoid profile is dominated by high THC levels and low or no CBD levels. Indica's chemical profile shows a more balanced mix, with moderate THC levels and higher levels of CBD."

In 1937 Zionist Elite Cartels forces US Congress to pass Marijuana tax act which criminalizes the Cannabis drug.

William Randolph Hearst had a monopoly in the timber Industry making newsprint. Hemp could also make paper, but it was a time consuming and expensive procedure, by the time an inventor by the name of Schlichten made a decorticator, a machine which could make extract fine fibre in a jiffy.

Fearing that hemp will take away the monopoly of opium and timber industry for making paper, the arms of the Congress were twisted and as a result nobody in USA dared to invest in the decorticator.

In 1938, Jewish U.S. company DuPont, a Opium agent of Rothschild,  patented the processes for creating plastics from coal and oil and a new process for creating paper from wood pulp.

In 1941 the WONDER MEDICINE AND GOD'S GIFT TO MANKIND Cannabis is removed from the U.S. Pharmacopoeia and it's medicinal use is no longer recognized in America.

ALL IN A PROCESS OF 5 YEARS, MARIJUANA AND IT'S BENEFITS WERE KEPT AWAY FROM PEOPLE, AND SINCE THEN ZIONISTS CARTEL WERE TAKING US FOR A SONG.

One major drawback of cannabis as medicine is the one has to smoke it for consumption, however today, medicinal cannabis patients can use vaporizers, where the essential cannabis compounds are extracted and inhaled. In addition, edible cannabis, which is produced in various baked cookies and cakes is also available, and has long lasting effects.

Cannabis contains 483 compounds. At least 80 of these are cannabinoids, which are the basis for medical and scientific use of cannabis. This presents the research problem of isolating the effect of specific compounds and taking account of the interaction of these compounds.

Cannabinoids serves as appetite stimulants, antiemetics, antispasmodics, and have some analgesic effects. Six important cannabinoids found in the cannabis plant are tetrahydrocannabinol, tetrahydrocannabinolic acid, cannabidiol, cannabinol, β-caryophyllene, and cannabigerol.

Cannabis helps fight inflammation and counteracts the effects of irritating chemicals in the drug.  Research done by the Scripps Research Institute in California shows that the active ingredient in marijuana, THC, prevents the formation of deposits in the brain associated with Alzheimer's disease. THC was found to prevent an enzyme called acetylcholinesterase from accelerating the formation of "Alzheimer plaques" in the brain more effectively than commercially marketed drugs.

THC is also more effective at blocking clumps of protein that can inhibit memory and cognition in Alzheimer’s patients. Cannabinoids can also potentially prevent or slow the progression of Alzheimer's disease by reducing tau protein phosphorylation, oxidative stress, and neuroinflammation.

According to a 2007 and a 2010 study at the California Pacific Medical Centre Research Institute, cannabidiol (CBD) stops breast cancer from spreading throughout the body by down regulating a gene called ID1. This may provide a non-toxic alternative to chemotherapy while achieving the same results without the painful and unpleasant side effects.

Investigators at Columbia University published clinical trial data in 2007 showing that HIV/AIDS patients who inhaled cannabis four times daily experienced substantial increases in food intake with little evidence of discomfort and no impairment of cognitive performance. They concluded that smoked cannabis has a clear medical benefit in HIV-positive patients.

A study by University in Madrid found that chemicals in cannabis can kill brain cancer cells.

Smoking marijuana shortly after having a stroke prevents the swelling of the brain and much of the brain damage and loss of function associated with strokes. Smoking pot has absolutely no toxicity to human tissues.

Cannabis is the only cure for Epilepsy...   Period

Hemp is a woody, herbaceous plant, each growing season it reaches a height of twelve to twenty feet, and grow well in any climate or soil condition. Its roots penetrate deep a foot per month, breaking up compacted and overworked soil, combating soil erosion.

Since it grows so quickly, it could be a year round crop, harvested twice a year, or it could be planted as a second crop, after harvest of a different one.

The plant is able to provide all basic needs of humans anywhere on the planet from food, medicine, treeless shelter and paper, clothing and other textiles, renewable fuel alternative to those presently creating acid rain, global warming, and deforestation.

An acre of hemp provides the same amount of cellulose and fibre pulp required to make paper products and pressed or particleboard, as four acres of trees, while producing four to seven times less pollution.

Hemp is softer, warmer, stronger and more absorbent than cotton, and it doesn't require the agricultural chemicals that cotton does. Rivers could recover from paper industry chemicals.

Nutrition wise, hemp seed is the highest in essential fatty acids and the lowest in saturated fats. It can be made into a tofu-like curd at a cheaper cost than soya, sprouted to make milk and ice cream or for use in salad, ground and used like flour, or pressed for making oil, whose by-product is a high protein animal feed.

Hemp can also be used as fuel for industrial use, electricity, transportation -each acre is capable of yielding 1,000 gallons of methanol; that's ten tons per acre every four months. It's an annually renewable fuel source, that can be grown for this purpose , very cheap.

It improves air quality, reducing our dependence on foreign oil, and bringing millions of jobs in energy production, distributing wealth to rural areas and moving away from monopolies.

The hurds (pulp left over after fiber is removed) are 77% cellulose that could be used to produce chemicals, biodegradable plastics, paint, dynamite, and fibers.

Marijuana did not cause any kind of violence, and that it also had positive effects on it's smokers. Marijuana never acted as a 'gateway drug'; as a matter of fact it has been used for alcohol addiction treatment.

Some therapeutic uses of smoking Cannabis: Stops asthma attacks, reduces ocular pressure of those with Glaucoma, relieves nausea, stimulates appetites of chemotherapy patients and anorexics, lung expectorant, antispasmodic, reduces intensity of epileptic seizures, relieves symptoms of muscular dystrophy, relieves migraine headaches, lowers blood pressure, relaxes muscles, relieves stress, promotes a restful sleep, relieves dementia and depression, and invokes positive 'vibrations'-all without the negative, and sometimes deadly side effects of pharmaceuticals.

The plants antibiotic cannabidiolic acids can be applied in a topical form to treat gonorrhea, herpes, arthritis, rheumatism, and cystic fibrosis. Cannabiniods, the plants active compounds, when injected directly into cancerous brain tumours were found to completely destroy the tumours, while leaving normal cells untouched. More recent studies show that THC even has its own unique receptor sites in the brain, to which, so far, no other compounds have been found to bind.

Further studies reveals that cannabis or cannabinoids can be useful for treating alcohol abuse, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, collagen-induced arthritis, asthma, atherosclerosis, bipolar disorder, colorectal cancer, HIV-Associated Sensory Neuropathy depression, dystonia, epilepsy, digestive diseases, essential tremors, Gliomas, Hepatitis C, Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA), Parkinson's disease, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Psoriasis, Sleep Apnea.

It can be used to relieve pain, muscle spasms, headaches, anxiety, nausea, vomiting, depression, cramps, panic attacks, diarrhoea, and itching. Others used cannabis to improve sleep, relaxation, appetite, concentration or focus, and energy.

Some patients used it to prevent medication side effects, anger, involuntary movements, and seizures, while others used it as a substitute for other prescription medications and alcohol. Cannabis prevents the wasting syndromes and chronic loss of appetite associated with chemotherapy and AIDS, along with a variety of rare muscular and skeletal disorders.

As early as 4200 BC, Charaka, the Father of Medicine , used Cannabis leaves for osmosis hot water immersion baths for spine injury related spasms, epilepsy seizures, dementia, Severe Arthritis Pain, nausea, and PMS cramps. He knew the anti-oxidative, neuro-protective and anti-inflammatory properties of Cannabis.
The seeds of Cannabis  is used for a great variety of affections, and are considered to be tonic, laxative, diuretic and corrective. They are made into a Kanjee or soup by boiling with water, mixed with wine and beaten into a paste.

And this are some prime reasons which worries the pharmaceutical sector if marijuana were to be legalized, right away it would replace 90% of pharmaceutical drugs, taking away millions and billions of dollars from pharmaceutical companies, who have so far been unsuccessful at synthetically replicating the positive effects of marijuana.

Half of the "lobbying" funds contributed to US Govt from 'against marijuana' groups come from American pharmaceutical drug companies.

When smoked, the short-term effects of cannabis manifest within seconds and are fully apparent within a few minutes, typically lasting for 2 to 3 hours, varying upon the person and strain of marijuana.

Of the 2000 cannabis plants varieties known on this planet, about 90% contain low-grade THC and are most useful for their fibre, seeds and medicinal or psychoactive oils. The highest THC and special effects Cannabis is found in India.  Three  main species of Cannabis is widely recognised: C. indica, C. ruderalia, and C. sativa.

Hemp is environmentally very friendly as it requires no pesticides and herbicides. It has been called a carbon-negative raw materialCannabis Sativa is the variety grown for industrial use, while Cannabis Indica (generally has poor fibre quality) and is primarily used for recreational and medicinal purposes.

There are three types of cannabis used in India .

The first, bhang, consists of the leaves and plant tops of the marijuana plant. It is usually consumed as an infusion in beverage form, and varies in strength according to how much cannabis is used in the preparation.

The second, ganja, consisting of the leaves and the plant tops, is smoked.

The third, called charas or hashish, consists of the resinous buds and/or extracted resin from the leaves of the marijuana plant. Some of the wandering ascetics in India known as sadhus smoke charas out of a clay chillum. Cannabis was employed by them to go into a trance, as “necromancers" to set forward time and reveal future events.

Long forgotten events are often recalled and thoughts occur in unrelated sequences. Perception of time, and occasionally of space, is altered. Visual and auditory hallucinations follow the use of large doses.

Euphoria, excitement, inner happiness – often with hilarity and laughter – are typical. In some cases, a final mood of depression may be experienced. While behaviour is sometimes impulsive, violence or aggression is seldom induced.

In modern times HEMP is used for INDUSTRIAL purposes including paper, textiles, clothing, biodegradable plastics, construction (as with Hemcrete and insulation), body products, health food and bio-fuel. Hemp is thus legally grown in many countries across the world including Spain, China, Japan, Korea, France, North Africa and Ireland.

Hemp is grown for milk animal fodder ( oil cakes ) and for a wide variety of purposes including the manufacture of cordage, durable clothing and nutritional products.

The oil from the seeds oxidises and hence hemp oil is a drying oil, like Linseed oil. Hemp oil is used in the manufacture of oil-based paints, in creams as a moisturising agent, for cooking, and in plastics.

Hemp seeds can be eaten raw, ground into a meal, sprouted, made into hemp milk (akin to soy milk),  and used in baking. The fresh leaves can also be consumed in salads. Products include cereals, frozen waffles, hemp tofu, nut butters, protein powders , ice creams and even cosmetics. Hemp seed oil has found some use in the production of soaps, shampoos and detergents.

The oil is of high nutritional value because its 3:1 ratio of omega-6 to omega-3 essential fatty acids, which matches the balance required by the human body. Approximately 44% of the weight of hemp seed is healthy edible oils, Hemp seed's amino acid profile is close to "complete" when compared to more common sources of proteins such as meat, milk, eggs and soy.

Hemp protein contains all 21 known amino acids, including the 9 essential ones adult bodies cannot produce. Proteins are considered complete when they contain all the essential amino acids in sufficient quantities and ratios to meet the body's needs. Hemp seed oil has a relatively low smoke point and is not suitable for frying.

Concrete-like blocks made with hemp and lime have been used as an insulating material for construction. A mixture of fibreglass, hemp fibre, kenaf, and flax has been used since 2002 to make composite panels for automobiles.

Hemp rope was used in the age of sailing ships, though the rope had to be protected by tarring. Hemp rope was phased out when Manila, which does not require tarring, became widely available. Hemp-fibres were also used as part of a caulking that made the hull of sailing ships watertight.

Hemp seeds are 44% oil and can be used to create natural organic ethanol or methanol. Ethanol blends of 10%-15% blend massively reduces emissions. Pure Ethanol releases no black soot like how oil dirties car engines and exhaust pipes.

Hemp can produce 10 times more methanol than corn. Hemp fuel burns clean. Petroleum causes acid rain due to sulfur pollution. The use of hemp fuel does not contribute to environmental pollution nor “global climate change”.
Henry Ford used hemp to not only construct cars but also fuel them. Hemp fuel is biodegradable; so oil spills become fertilizer not eco-catastrophes. Hemp fuel does not contribute to sulfur dioxide air poisoning. Other noxious emissions like carbon monoxide and hydrocarbons are radically slashed by using “biodiesel.”.

Henry Ford’s first Model-T was built to run on hemp gasoline and the car itself was constructed from hemp. On his large estate, Ford was photographed among his hemp fields. The car, ‘grown from the soil,’ had hemp plastic panels whose impact strength was 10x stronger than steel; --Popular Mechanics, 1941.

Hemp is relatively insensitive to cold temperatures and can withstand frost down to -5 degrees C.  The soil invading roots  can access ground water supplies from deeper soil layers.  Industrial hemp methanol would be an inexpensive, healthy alternative – giving us freedom from using hydrocarbon fuels and replacing them with healthy carbohydrate fuels. There are some commercial kitchens stoves that can use methanol without upgrading the equipment. It’s  clean, efficient, inexpensive energy…and a renewable one at that.

Hemp could serve as a replacement for many petroleum-based products like fuel and plastics. Many countries are re-instituting hemp studies and hemp cultivation as part of the "green" movement. Hemp gave high-grade food oil that was also used for lamp oil, the production of paint and eco soap.

Hemp is 77% cellulose, which is the main component for fuel. Methanol from hemp is clean, renewable, and does not require large amounts of dangerous chemicals to process.

Now you get the drift why Lord Shiva gave this Cannabis plant as a gift, to this planet?

And how greedy multi-national corporates "lobbied" with politicians wants to paint a boon as a bane.

Well, I hope now that you might be aware of the benefits of Cannabis, and what has to be known about i the evil clutches of the Zionist Cartel who have been able to keep us away for more than a century by which the Human Race has suffered a lot under the hands of the few,

In about a year or Two from now America will legalise this wonder plant and lets hope with it governments all over the world will ease its stand on this Wonder plant.

LET'S WISH THIS PLANT IS AVAILABLE TO ALL, LETS WISH WE BREAK THE BACKBONE OF MNC WITH LORD SHIVA'S BOON....

May Maa Bharti shower her Grace on You,

Mahamrityunjaya Mantra and it benefits

I had earlier written a post on Gayatri mantra, where in i have detailed in brief about Mrutyunjaya mantra as the Gayatri Mantra is the most revered of Mantras in Sanatana Dharma, Mrutyujaya Mantra comes a close second.
http://jayandivakaran.blogspot.in/2014/09/gayatri-mantra-universal-mantra.html

The Mahamrityunjaya Mantra is amongst the finest Mantra's in Indian Mythology and Spirituality belongs to Lord Shiva. It is a combination of three Sanskrit words i.e. "Maha" which means Great , "Mrityun" means Death and "Jaya" means Victory over death. Even known as "Rudra Mantra" or "Trayambakam Mantra". Rudra refers to Lord Shiva.

The Great Mantra is : Om Trayambakam Yajamahe, Sugandhim Pushti Vardhanam,
Urvarukmiv Bandhanat, Mrityurmokshaya Mamratat.

Meaning:

Trayambakam : One who has three eyes. Lord Shiva is the only one who have it.

Yajamahe: One who is prayed or worshipped.

Sugandhim: Good Smell.

Pushti: Prosperous, Fulfilled.

Vardhanam: One who makes happy, prosperous, gives peace of mind and takes care about you.

Urvarukmiv: Like it or no one else.

Bandhanat: Associated or bonding.

Mrityur- From Death.

Mokshaya: Free us or send us heaven.

Ma: Not

Amritat: Immortal.

Over all meaning of the Mantra: We concentrate on the third eye which lies behind the two eyes and this gives us the power to feel you and by this we feel happy, satisfied and peaceful. We know immortality is not possible but some extension can be given to our death by your powers Lord Shiva.

This Mantra has a great utility for those who are suffering from some sever disease or having the fear of sudden death. This mantra has a highest form of energy as it also denotes Gayatri mantra and when it is chanted a person can really feel energy making heavy movements in his body.

There are basically two ways of using this Mantra.

A) A person can either chant 108 Mantra's or a Mala daily. 108 is important because it has a great mathematical calculation. 108 is the multiplication sum of 12 and 9. 12 here refers to Zodiac Signs and 9 refers to planets. When a human chants this Mantra for 108 times all his planets and zodiac signs instead or making ups and downs in life come on track and stay calm and because of their changed nature human life settles again.

B) When a person is scared of unnatural death or serious disease he has to get the Pooja done by a priest and the priest later on does a pooja in Lord Shiva temple and chant one hundred thousand mantras to benefit the person who has arranged for the pooja.

Apart from the above two ways if a person lacks time but wants to get the benefit of the Mantra then he must go to Lord Shiva Temple daily and must pour water on Shiv Ling and chant the Mantra for just five times. It would be great if you can also put "Bilva Patra" on the Shiv Ling and the pour the Water. Thats a surety that within 15 days starting from Monday a person will start getting rid of certain mental and physical troubles.

This mantra can be chanted any time day or night even when you are about to sleep and this is very effective too. This is not only for saving life but also a great mantra for concentration and mental peace. A person must concentrate on his third eye position (pineal gland) and chant this and slowly and gradually he will start feeling the positive energy in his third eye.

In the beginning concentrating on the third eye would be painful because you mind will not be able to resist the pain but with practice you can really do it well and lately everything you do will be successful as your third eye will show you everything in advance.

"Om Namah Shivaya

History of Mahamrutyunjaya Mantra

Though the mantra is much older than the Gayatri Mantra, Mrityunjaya mantra was regarded as the most potent mantra by sages and was used in all rituals and ceremonies and still is given high importance by all Shiva Bhakts who meditate on the three eyed lord, however the legend behind this potent mantra goes like this:

Childless, the forest-dwelling sage Mrikandu and his wife, Marudvati, undertook a long penance, hoping to earn merit and the boon of a child. They were rewarded with a vision of Lord Shiva, their ishtadevata (the deity of their hearts). After hearing their request, Lord Shiva told them they could either parent a child who would be a brilliant spiritual light but whose life would be a scant sixteen years, or they could raise a long-lived child who would be witless and self-absorbed.

They chose the child with spiritual virtue, and in time Marudvati gave birth to a boy they named Markandeya. The couple decided not to tell him that he would have a short life span, but as he approached his sixteenth birthday his parents’ growing sadness betrayed them. And when he asked them to explain their sorrow, they told him what Lord Shiva had said. Already an accomplished yogi, Markandeya rededicated himself to his practice.

On the day of his sixteenth birthday Markandeya took refuge in a temple and sat next to a shiva lingam to do his worship and meditation. When the messengers of Lord Yama, the lord of death, arrived to take him away, they found him so absorbed in his prayers, they could not complete their mission.

Returning to Yama, they described their dilemma. So Yama himself traveled to the temple to accomplish the task. He urged Markandeya to follow the natural laws of life and death, and to come willingly, but Markandeya wrapped his arms around the shiva lingam and surrendered himself to its protection. Yama threw his noose to gather Markandeya in, but the noose encircled the lingam as well, and immediately, Shiva, dwelling in the image, split the lingam open and emerged in a rage. Yama had thrown his noose too far, for he had no authority to encircle Shiva himself.

Yama was killed with a blow from Shiva’s foot as the other gods looked on in dismay. Fearing that Yama’s death would upset the order of the universe, they implored Shiva to bring him back to life—and in the end, Shiva complied. But he pointed out that Markandeya’s devotion had protected him, and he was therefore blessed to remain a sixteen-year-old sage eternally. The ancient belief is that the realized soul of Markandeya is still moving in the universe.

Shiva: The Shelter of Kindness

The story of Markandeya opens doors to a vast spiritual heritage with the mysterious figure of Shiva at its core. Shiva is dual-natured. He guards the universal order with ferocious resolve, destroying attachments and freeing his devotees from ignorance. He is the inner controller and the dissolver, bringing compulsive pursuits of passion, and even life itself, to its natural end. This aspect of Shiva is reflected in his ancient name Rudra, “one who howls.” The more familiar name Shiva, on the other hand, means “auspicious, gracious, or kind.” Here compassion is Shiva’s nature. He is a shelter of kindness and the giver of boons. With tenderness and a sure hand, he guides those who aspire to self-realization and he relieves the suffering that exists in the universe.

Shiva personifies pure consciousness. He manifests the universe and exists in it like a net into which every particle and being is woven. Yet he remains unaffected by the world’s charms and temptations as he silently holds all that moves in an unmoving presence. He is the Lord of Yogis, established in meditation.

He has many names. To Markandeya he is Mrityunjaya, the Death Conqueror. And some say it is this aspect of Shiva’s being that Markandeya was worshipping on his sixteenth birthday. But Shiva’s conquest over Yama does not give us the complete picture of Mrityunjaya, for even in his aspect as the ruler of death, Shiva is deeply nurturing as well as fearsome.

The Mahamrityunjaya mantra is one of yoga’s most important mantras. It restores health and happiness and brings calmness in the face of death.

Once the mantra is learned, bring it to mind as you begin your daily meditation, as a kind of invocation to your normal practice. After calming the body and breath, do 3, 11, 21, or even 36 recitations, and allow your mind to become absorbed in the sounds and rhythm of each line. Let the mantra draw your awareness to the heart centre or the eyebrow centre, whichever feels most natural to you, and use that centre as the focal point of your awareness. If you are reciting the mantra to help with a health problem, focus your awareness at the navel centre.

In this respect, Markandeya’s story is allegorical, a reminder to us that the temple of human life is the body; that prayers and acts of worship culminate in meditation; and that the inner lingam which blesses us with immortality is the energy flowing from the base of the spine to the crown of the head. Awakening that energy was Markandeya’s act of faith.

Words of another of the ancient sages, Suta, point us in a similar direction and inspire us to begin our own practice. They make a good closing to this article.

O sages of good and holy rites, there is no other lord so merciful as Tryambaka. He is propitiated and delighted easily. Truly, it is just so with the Maha Mrityunjaya mantra. One who is united with it, whatever may be his plight, shall undoubtedly be liberated from attachment, and by meditation he shall become one with the infinite itself.

The Power of AUM

The OM Mantra is a roadmap for meditation and spiritual practices (written as either AUM or OM). It's not only for persons seeking spiritual life, but for those who strive to realize the depth of the Absolute Reality. There are four main levels of consciousness outlined in the OM Mantra, along with three transition levels, which is a total of seven levels. Each of these is experienced on the inner journey of meditation and contemplation.

OM symbolizes deep realities: OM Mantra itself is not a mere human invention, the deep vibration emitted from chanting the AUM mantra is definitely experienced by the mystic traveller, whether or not one has ever heard of the OM mantra as such. The levels of gross (A), subtle (U), and causal (M), and the states of waking (A), dreaming (U), and deep sleep (M) are definitely there, regardless of the symbolism captured in the mantra when stated as AUM Mantra. It is these realities that are most useful in our spiritual practices.

The subtle sound is always there: A vibration exists, underneath all of the grosser aspects of being, like a substratum. The subtle sound of OM Mantra is constantly there, and when heard in deep yoga meditation, sounds like a continuous vibration, ever sounding out mmmmmmm.... At a deeper level, it is extremely loud and serene.

Emerging from OM: The reality symbolized by OM Mantra is the ground vibration out of which all other vibrations, sounds and mantras emerge.

Receding into OM: That vibration represented by OM Mantra is the substratum into which all those vibrations, sounds, and mantras recede when followed back to their source.

Silence from OM emerges: Eventually, this leads to a deep stillness and silence, which is experienced as the silence from which the sound of OM emerged. This silence is described as the fourth state, beyond the three sounds of A, U, and M, which are contained in OM Mantra. However, in this practice, as you internally repeat the sound of OM, imagine the underlying vibration of the universe were coming from all places and through all things.

Feel the vibration while chanting AUM: There is a sound that can be heard in your which comes from the brain. Some people experience this as a buzzing or ringing sound. By listening closely, the mmmmmmm... sound can be heard, like the end of the OM mantra (Or you might hear it as eeeeeeeee....) feeling this vibration, with the awareness of AUM is a good way to start the aspect of OM. Gradually, it will expand to deeper sound of the mantra. Chanting AUM can be particularly enjoyable and insightful when recalling some of the other meanings of AUM Mantra at the same time.

Allowing thoughts to come and go: While chanting, it is best to gently allow other thought patterns to come into the field of attention, and then allow those thoughts to drift away. There is no intent of doing anything with these thoughts, either engaging them or pushing them away. In other words, chanting of AUM is not used to suppress thoughts and emotions, rather our attention is allowed to expand, and at the same time non-attachment is accelerated by the learned by experiencing the vibration, and letting go of the thought patterns. This is one way to gain access to the ability of being a neutral witness to the stream of thoughts in the mind, as is sometime described as being like watching leaves, sticks, and logs floating in river.

Remembering four planes with OM: The OM mantra designates the whole of the universe, including the gross, subtle, and causal planes (realms, or levels) and the absolute reality of which they are a part. The explanation below is a bit technical, but is truly a very practical way of using the mantra, once you understand the meaning. It does require working with mantra and meaning, but then it becomes clear and quite insightful.

Four parts of OM: The OM Mantra has four parts. First, is the sound like "Ah," then "Uuuu," then "Mmmm," and finally the silence beyond the mantra. Thus, the mantra is also written as AUM, as well as OM. The three sounds, and the silence have the following meanings:

The A sound refers to the gross world.

The U part refers to the subtle realm.

The M refers to the causal plane, out of which the gross and subtle emerge.

The Silence after these three, refers to the absolute reality that is the substratum for each of the other three realities.

Start slowly in remembering the parts: When using the mantra in this way, it is easiest to begin by remembering the mantra very slowly, allowing time to be aware of each of the levels. Be aware of the four parts of the mantra separately (though forming a continuous sound), something like this:

AaaaaaUuuuuuMmmmmm.....Silence.....

When the "A" of OM mantra arises in the mind field, be aware of the gross world, including the objects of the world, the people, and your own physical being. Actually allow your attention to scan these aspects of the world. Do not get caught up in these objects; just be aware of this level of reality, and then let go of it, so as to go beyond.

When the "U" of OM mantra arises in the mind field, be aware, as best you can of the existence of the subtle or astral realm, including whatever objects you might intuit. As with the gross world, do not get caught up in these objects; just be aware of this level of reality, and then let go of it, so as to go beyond.

When the "M" of OM mantra arises in the mind field, be aware of the causal, background stillness out of which the subtle emerge, and into which they rest when not active. This can be difficult to imagine. It might help to think of it like being the canvas on which a picture is painted, or the screen on which a movie is projected.

When the Silence comes to the mind field, be aware of the absolute reality that permeates each of the other three layers. This fourth level of the mantra the absolute reality, is experienced in a shallow way at first, and only deepens with continued practice of contemplation and yoga meditation.

ॐकारं बिंदुसंयुक्तं नित्यं ध्यायंति योगिनः ।

Omkaaram Bindu-Samyuktam Nityam Dhyaayanti Yoginah |
Kaamadam Mokssadam Caiva Omkaaraaya Namo Namah ||1||

(Salutations to Him) Who resides In the Spiritual Heart Centre as Omkara,
On Whom the Yogis Constantly MeditateWho Grants All Desires and also Liberation to His Devotees.
Salutations to that Shiva, Who is represented by syllable "Om"
Yogis were the Rishis and Maharshis, who remain integrated in harmony with mind body and the spirit, who pray and meditated for the benefit of not only mankind but maintain the equilibrium of nature, flora and fauna. Every yogi had a one prime ambition and that is to become one with the Supreme Being, which is the permanent bliss of freedom, the ultimate truth that dispels a person from many magnitudes of Ignorance.
A Yogi could look for integration of universe and self as well of integration between what is outside and inside, ultimately their consciousness merge into the consciousness of the Supreme Being, which is signified by the word Yoginaha. Those who derive such results follow and worship AUM, they tune with the vibrations of AUM by worshiping on AUM.

Sound vibrations of mantras have been proved as effective for this and therefore advised by the Indian tradition to establish conscious contact with and develop control over the central nervous system.

The most important aspect of AUM is the BINDU, or the dot it is the representation of the Supreme Consciousness i.e. ‘The Point Beyond’. The verses of the Purusha Suktam in the Rig Veda describe the three levels of transformation of human being, when the yogi evolves above these levels he comes in the same level as that of the Param Purusha,

AUM is the sound of Cosmos and has sounds of all vibrations of the cosmos in itself.  In Vedas it is mentioned that AUM is the sound of light. AUM surcharges man with vibrations of the highest reality. Human ear can hear only at a very narrow band between 20 Hz to 20000 Hz, the rest cannot be heard, which is why cosmic sounds cannot be heard by the human ear. These cosmic sounds were heard by yogis in their spiritual trances which broadened their sense spectrums.

Chanting AUM is identifying oneself with the cosmic resonance, the earth vibrates at 7.83 Hz and so does AUM. The primordial vibrations of atoms and molecules is thus represented by OM. When 2 vibrating systems are in resonance with each other, a rise in the amplitude of the waves take place. As one chants AUM, a great vibration is generated in your body right from heard to abdomen, and as we chant further this vibration converts into scalar waves which calms the mind.

The MMMM humming boosts production of Nitric Oxide in the body, which was well known to our ancestors 7000 years ago. AUM has a vibratory healing effect on your organs. These vibrations penetrate deep into tissues, nerve cells and improve blood circulation round the body, bringing much more oxygen to different organs and secretion of hormonal glands also stimulated in a better way. AUM vibrations generates electro-magnetic waves which propagate throughout the body making you feel more dynamic and joyful. AUM opens up quantum tunnelling, where the wormholes do NOT have a restriction of speed of light.

Since time immemorial our Vedic Rishis have arrived at this tone through intuition and meditation while identifying themselves with cosmic resonance. Our Vedic civilisation flourished on the banks of the river Saraswati from 9000BC to 4000BC.

The secrets of this universe are contained in energy, frequency and vibration. Chanting AUM raises your vibration to a higher consciousness, and it clears the channel for intuition. From the conch OM sound comes. This is why all Vedic Hindu temples have it. The sound it produces is awesome.

The Bible uses the corrupted version of AMEN, which does NOT resonate. When you show the symbol of AUM in the mirror it becomes 786--the holy number on every Koran. The Christian AMEN and the Jewish SHALOM is nothing but a lift from the Hindu King Mantra OM.   OM releases Nitric Oxide-- Amen and Shalom does nothing.

Chanting AUM stimulated your Vagus nerve which releases anti-ageing neuro-trasnsmitters. It helps regenerate your organs and cells by activating stem cells.

Resonances of earth, i.e, 7.83, 14, 20, 26, 33, 39 and 45 Hertz of earth. 7.83 hz being the strongest of all, OM or Schumann frequency.

Ohm- 7.83 Hz
Gam - 14 Hz
Hleem - 20 Hz
Hreem - 26 Hz
Kleem - 33 Hz
Krowm - 39 Hz
Sreem - 45 Hz

Mantras are Scalar energy based sounds which resonate in the Zero Point Field Aakashik hyperspace.

  • Mantras resonate your pineal gland . Pineal glands of Vedic seers were the size of a lemon. Ours in this 21st century is the size of dried raisin .
  • Mantras reprogramme your DNA. The human DNA can produce longitudinal scalar waves
  • Mantra is a carrier wave with potent information within it.
  • Mantras vibrations on DNA , chakras and pineal gland purifies and raises human consciousness
  • Mantras have immediate soothing effect makes the brain produce and release magic healing chemicals. Errant and disturbing thought are killed!
  • Mantras must begin and end with OM or AUM – OM resonates with the earth's heartbeat of 7.83 hertz.  NASA kept 7.83 hertz generators on their Apollo space crafts.
  • Mantras cleanse the environment and can reduce crime in a city—if chanted by sufficient numbers , the right way, and right number of times.  Some call this transcendental.  It is about quantum consciousness.
  • Mantras increase Prana or life force, sharpens intellect and boosts metabolism.
  • Mantras can reduce the surface tension of water. Sages kept Saraswati and Ganges water in copper lotas with them
  • Mantras centres your mind ( effect on subconscious ) and slows down your breathing.
  • Mantras increase your Auras as seen by Kirlean photography—due to the effect on sympathetic and para sympathetic nervous systems.
  • Mantra chanting must be done with intent, to make it more powerful. This is about consciousness again.

Scientists have found out today that Vedic mantras  have therapeutic and psychological benefits even when recited without understanding them. For Sanskrit emanated from the DNA of seers.
